This diary dates back to a holiday in 2003 when I think the urge to get back into fishing took off.
From around 2007 the trips became more frequent with 2010/11 probably being the peak of activity.
Things again pick up in 2020 - a sort of rebirth!

Tried a morning session today; 07.30 to 09.30.
Troubled by small fish and felt three larger ones, but didn’t hook any. A perfect tench morning came to nothing.
I returned in the afternoon for an evening session; 16.30 to 21.30. Again perfect conditions but where were the fish?
Got some small roach and rudd and lost hook while retrieving bait - cause unknown.
